Cloud Engineer - Azure/AWS

Financial Services client is seeking a Cloud Engineer to help support a cloud migration across the organisation.

Required skills:

• A hands-on Infrastructure SME with an eye for detail and a continually developing skillset.
• A deep understanding and background of core infrastructure technologies with excellent scripting ability.
• Deep technical ability across Azure/AWS IaaS and PaaS technologies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent documentation skills, creation of procedures guides and knowledge base articles for the wider infrastructure team.

Required Technical Skills:

• Strong Azure/AWS experience working across hybrid platforms
• Automation scripting experience using source control (PowerShell preferable) to streamline day to day processes, enhance security and improve the user experience
• Office 365 (including EMS - Enterprise Mobility Suite)
• Network & Security - routing & switching, firewalls, IPS, proxies, NLB's
• 3rd line Wintel background covering Microsoft stack, VMWare, enterprise storage and compute
