Management Accountant

Partnering with a company in the Healthcare industry that is eager to bring on an ambitious Management Accountant with strong accounting knowledge and technical proficiency to thrive in a dynamic environment.

• Salary: £55,000 to £60,000 DOE
• On site: 5 days in the office
• Location: North London

What can you expect?

• Performing bank reconciliations.
• Handling equal top-ups, annotations, and posting ME journals, while providing support to all home and regional employees.
• Taking ownership of P&L lines to ensure consistent reporting across homes, divisions, and the entire business.
• Managing head office cost lines, ensuring expenditure is accurately captured in budget lines and providing full visibility of actuals and forecasts.
• Managing Development/Exceptional cost lines and providing comprehensive visibility of related expenses.
• Preparing schedules for balance sheets and analysing key P&L lines.
• Conducting reconciliations of relevant balance sheet accounts, bank accounts, and Capex analysis by homes and categories, while monitoring trends and forecasts.
• Performing inter-company reconciliations and maintaining a matrix showing all group companies and related parties.
• Conducting spend analysis for department heads.
• Assisting with month-end packs for homes and divisions.
• Undertaking ad hoc tasks relevant to the role.
• Submitting periodic reports aligned with Capex requirements.
• Managing standalone audits of legacy companies from end to end.

What experience/skills do you need?

• Final stages/NQ ACCA/ACA/CIMA with Healthcare experience
• Multi-site experience
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Numerically strong
• Financial modelling experience
• Advanced Excel with ability to work within big and complex data from multiple platforms
• Excellent written and oral communication
